Telemarketing/Inside Sales Representative (#SALES001)
Location: Kirkland, WA
Position Description:
This person contacts prospects by phone to schedule appointments for Account Executives (AE). They need to be enthusiastic about making over 100 cold and warm calls a day. The primary responsibility of this person is to find and qualify prospects for further sales follow-up, but they will also invite prospects to trade shows and seminars, and participate in responding to RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs. They may schedule or conduct online demos. Forwards detailed feedback resulting from telemarketing conversations to appropriate AEs, and may schedule or conduct online software demonstrations. Maintains a tracking system recording what contacts have been made and what literature has been sent to companies for events in the past. Sends out literature, invitations and confirmations to prospects.
Compensation:
Base salary plus commission. No cap on compensation plan.
Requirements:
- A disciplined, professional self-starter who wants to work as part of a sales team.
- At least six months experience in telemarketing, inside sales, and/or other intense telephone customer contact.
- Previous experience in inside sales for a business-to-business software company is a plus.
- Enough technical aptitude to quickly learn company?s products.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required.
- Uses the phone eight hours per day.
